New Model School (NMS) is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and highly organised Drama Teacher & LAMDA Instructor to join our school on a maternity cover contract. We are dedicated to providing a safe environment for children at all times and maintaining professional standards through our school policies and safeguarding guidelines.
About the role:
The successful candidate will deliver engaging drama lessons across the school, provide private and small-group LAMDA tuition (which will be arranged via the permanent drama teacher), and lead the planning and production of four key whole-school performances: two nativities (Reception and Year 1), a Year 4 production in the spring and a Year 6 end-of-year production in the summer. There is also the opportunity to run after school clubs, depending on the interest of the children.

You will contribute to a positive, respectful classroom environment and maintain strong relationships that help children thrive.
The role also involves preparing evidence of planning for monitoring purposes and working collaboratively with colleagues to uphold the school’s standards and ethos.
